01The company
Small on purpose.
We have been building software for other people’s companies for over a decade, as wiremore GmbH, from Berlin — for clients in Germany, Switzerland and further afield.
We have never wanted to be an agency. Growing headcount changes what a studio is: more of the work becomes managing the work. We would rather stay at the size where the people who talk to you are the people who build the thing.
02Principal
Manuel Bieh
wiremore was founded and is run by Manuel Bieh. He has been building for the web for 25 years and has worked with React since its early days.
He wrote React Deep Dive — 320 pages, and the first comprehensive book about React written in German. He has led teams as interim tech lead, worked as architect and developer, and shipped in automotive, regulated finance, media, logistics and health.

03The network
Around the studio.
Around wiremore is a network of senior developers, designers and specialists built up over two decades of working together — people we have shipped with, argued with, and would happily do both with again.
When a project needs another discipline or more hands than the studio has, that is where they come from. It is the reason a small studio can take on work that looks too big for it, and the reason we do not need to grow to say yes.

It keeps us honest about what shipping actually costs — deadlines nobody set for us, and no client to blame.
